A one to one consultation to discuss your desired brow shape, colour, skin type and expectations before treatment. Albina assesses your natural brows, explains the microblading process and the healing and aftercare requirements, and answers your questions. The £15 fee is fully deducted from the price of your first microblading treatment when you book with us.
Microblading Brows: First Treatment

Semi-permanent microblading that creates fine, hair-like strokes for fuller, more defined, natural-looking brows, customised to your features, brow shape and preferences. Includes consultation, brow mapping, pigment selection, numbing where suitable, microblading and aftercare advice. A top-up appointment is recommended after 4 to 6 weeks.
Microblading Brows: 4 to 6 Week Top-Up (Existing Clients Only)

For clients who have had their initial microblading treatment with Lush Beauty Essex. Albina assesses how your brows have healed, perfects the shape, refines areas where pigment has faded and adds further hair-like strokes where needed. Must be booked within 4 to 6 weeks of your first treatment, and is not available if your microblading was done elsewhere.
What to Expect From Your Appointment
Before your first treatment, new clients complete a medical and consent form, either online in advance or at the salon before treatment begins. Your appointment then starts with a consultation and brow mapping, where your shape is planned and your pigment colour chosen to suit your complexion and natural brows. Numbing is applied where suitable before the microblading begins, and Albina finishes by talking you through aftercare so you know exactly how to look after your brows while they heal. If you would rather talk everything through first, the separate £15 consultation covers your desired shape, colour, skin type and expectations, and explains the healing and aftercare requirements before you commit.
Healing, Aftercare and Your Top-Up
Microblading is a two stage process rather than a single appointment. After your first treatment you will be given aftercare instructions, and following them carefully matters because it directly affects how your brows heal. Once the brows have healed, a top-up is recommended after 4 to 6 weeks, which lets Albina assess how they have settled, perfect the shape and colour, refine areas where pigment has faded and add further hair-like strokes where needed for a more even, defined and long-lasting result. The top-up is available to existing microblading clients only and must be booked within that 4 to 6 week window, so it is worth booking it as soon as you have had your first treatment.
